Alarm Fur Cobra 11 - Germany's Version of CARS?

In America we had Cash for Clunkers, officially called CARS to bolster the auto industry and get older, inefficient cars off the road.  I think that Germany might have a much more exciting program, and it also happens to be a program on TV. Alarm Fur Cobra 11 is a series in which two cops chase bad guys and usually end up causing massive pileups on the Autobahn.

With the sheer number of episodes multiplied by the massive quantities of (sometimes rather nice) cars that are obliterated in each one, I predict that Germany must have a complete refresh of its population of cars about every two years.

There is a guy on Youtube called plsbemyguest who edits and puts up the good bits on Youtube in HD.  Every now and again we're treated by a "Greatest Crashmix Ever".  Here's the latest one below as a good example of the vehicular destruction that keeps Germany's automobile industry pumping out well-engineered new cars.
